DIGITAL LEARNING SOLUTION
Raising new generations’ awareness about the SDGs

The Sustainable Development Goals (UN), framed within the 2030 Agenda, have become a reference point for people and organizations that fight for a fairer and more sustainable world. The SDGs are universal in scope, and their call to leave no one behind puts the world’s most vulnerable and marginalized people (including children) at the top of their agenda. That is, raising children’s awareness and involvement is key to achieve a global commitment to the present and future of our planet.
ProFuturo, the digital education program driven by Fundación Telefónica and Fundació “La Caixa”, was born with the objective to reduce the educational gap in the world by improving the quality of education of millions of children living in vulnerable environments in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. Aiming to contribute to SDG 4 (quality education for all), ProFuturo offers digital educational methodologies and training so that teachers around the world can incorporate the digital skills and innovation in their schools.
TSVC has been commissioned the development and creation of a digital learning experience for children aged 6 to 8 focused on the Sustainable Development Goals. This is how Club 2030 was conceived; as a gamified digital learning solution that invites children to protect Planet Earth through a methodology based on action, collaboration and creativity organized in a Training and 4 Missions that group the different SDGs (Mission Humanity, Mission Progress, Mission Environment, Mission Peace and Community). Club 2030 promotes the students’ autonomy and the personalization of learning. In addition to prioritize the understanding and application of the SDGs, it also encourages the acquisition of key digital skills for the future, such as the navigation and prioritization of digital content, the understanding of interactive processes that allow collaboration and communication, or the creation of content and the resolution of problems in digital environments. The solution is accompanied by resources so that teachers can develop the sustainability skills linked to the SDGs and effectively relate the learning methodology of Club 2030 with their planning in the classroom.
